Jesus SAVES!

I didn’t grow up in church. 

I didn’t grow up understanding. 

So when I felt the Holy Spirit fall on me. 

That baptism of Fire! 

When I felt the love of Jesus surround me. 

I had questions. 

But the only answers that would quench my thirst, were found in the Word of God. 

The answers I got from people were all so different. 

The word is confirming, the word is solid. 

Build your life around the Truth. 

When you surround yourself with so many different people, you get so many different answers. Fellowship is vital, but there’s a peace that comes with the word. Coming together as believers is a must, but you need to seek the Scriptures. 

Even better if you seek the scriptures together! With those willing to take hold of the Bible and pray for understanding and wisdom. 

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness! 

What we need is WORD. 

Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it. 

Heaven and Earth shall pass away but his words shall not pass away. 

If you’re in the beginning of your walk, if you’re coming back into Christianity. 

Take hold of the truth, 

Take hold of the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I want to encourage you today. 

The Word is what you need to pick up.

Not a devotional, not a pamphlet. 

The word.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. -2 Timothy 3:1-5

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:36-47

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
